Collection of two antique poetry books circa the late 1800's. "The Poetical Works Of Owen Meredith (Robert Lord Lytton)" and "The Poetical Works Of John Dryden". Edward Robert Lytton was an English statesman, politician and poet who used the pseudonym/ pen name Owen Meredith. Much of his work is of a melancholy nature. John Dryden was an English poet, literary critic, translator, and playwright who in 1668 was appointed England's first Poet Laureate. These are in overall nice antique condition with light wear throughout the covers and spines, the pages are nice condition showing normal age. The color combo of green, black and gold on the covers and spines is absolutely gorgeous! Rare finds and a beautiful collectible set of antique books.
